About Us
38 Long Years Of Experience
We’ve been making art, both fine and functional since we were kids. Growing up surrounded by instruments, imaginative creatures, and kilns has shaped our lives and now we would like to share our creations with you, hoping these additions to your home and family can help shape your lives in small ways. We have combined our artisan skills with the magical personality of chaotic neutral mimics, raised lovingly in a rare, human-mimic cooperative colony in the outskirts of Portland Oregon.
Our creations are well fed, housebroken and probably will not eat you. Probably.
Our Products
We train and build musical instruments, functional pottery, furniture and sculpture, starting with raw materials.
Pixie Lutes
Our lutes, based on the Mountain Dulcimer fretboard, are made from real pixies, or pixie equivalent. They are available with customizable wood-burned or painted designs, although the wood-burning is extra due to it being a bit itchy for our recipients. These lutes are tuned to the key of G and are small enough to play just about anywhere.
Cradle Harps
These harps are small enough to cradle in your arms and love a good snuggle. They are in the key of C and come with music guides easy enough for first graders to get started making music right away. They all come completely housebroken and only sing while you strum them.
Coffee mugs and dinner ware
Our mugs and dishes love to hang out with their family on lazy days in the dappled, morning light. They also get pretty excited from the bustle of weekday morning frenzies getting the day together for a solid start. Whatever the occasion, they are happy to hold your food and drink and promise to take only the smallest nibbles and sips for themselves.
The only place where you’ll get practical products while simultaneously providing a forever home for chaotic creatures.
Past adoptions into forever homes
Mimics we have saved with your help!
This little guy received an A+ in obedience training and is now in his forever home.
This table top does well with small children but needed a home with no pets due to some aggression towards smaller cats and dogs. It is now in it’s forever home, holding up a fine piece of slate in a back patio.
This image was transferred using underglaze hand painted onto newsprint and applied to wet clay. This is an indoor critter and found the perfect home to accommodate it’s needs.
